Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 16/09/2026
These terms are a contract between you and Self Wealth Management LTD ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17451406) with registered office at 195 Wood Street, Suite Ra01, London, United Kingdom, E17 3NU. They govern your use of Self Wealth Management and our website (together, "the Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data, and our Legal Disclaimer, which explains the nature of the information we provide. Both form part of these terms.
1. What the Service is/is not
The Service provides financial calculators, educational content, and tools to help you organise information about your finances.
The Service provides information and guidance only. It does not provide financial advice, and we are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Nothing in the Service is a personal recommendation. See our Legal Disclaimer for full details. You are responsible for your own financial decisions, and we recommend taking regulated financial advice before making significant ones.
2. Your account
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- provide accurate account information and keep it up to date;
- keep your login credentials confidential and not share your account;
- tell us promptly at contact@selfwealthmanagement.co.uk if you believe your account has been compromised.
You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the United Kingdom to use the Service.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the financial information you enter. Calculator results based on inaccurate inputs will themselves be inaccurate.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users' data, or our systems;
- copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service or its content, except as permitted by law;
- use automated tools to access the Service without our written permission;
- upload or enter anything malicious, unlawful, or infringing of anyone else's rights.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.
4. Price and payment
The Service is currently provided free of charge; we may introduce paid features in the future.
5. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the information you enter into the Service. You grant us the limited licence needed to store and process it in order to operate the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Cloud sync is optional. If you disable it, your data is stored only on your device, and we are not responsible for loss of on-device data (please keep your own device backed up).
You can export or delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Our content
The Service and its content (including calculators, articles, courses, software, and branding) belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own private, non-commercial purposes. You may not republish or commercially exploit our content without permission.
7. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, add, or withdraw features, and we will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce the Service. During beta periods, features may change or be withdrawn more frequently, and you should treat the Service accordingly.
We update calculators when UK tax rules change, but there may be a delay between a rule change taking effect and our calculators reflecting it. Each calculator states the tax year it reflects.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Subject to that:
- we provide the Service with reasonable care and skill, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015;
- we are not liable for losses arising from financial decisions you make — the Service provides information, not advice, and decisions are yours (see our Legal Disclaimer);
- we are not liable for losses caused by inaccurate information you enter, or by your failure to keep your account secure, or by events outside our reasonable control;
- we are not liable for business losses; the Service is for private use.
If we are liable to you, our total liability is limited to [£X / the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is greater].
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via https://app.selfwealthmanagement.co.uk/delete-account, or by contacting us at contact@selfwealthmanagement.co.uk.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, or on reasonable notice if we withdraw the Service. If we terminate without cause, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data first.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property and liability) continue to apply.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, you can close your account.
11. General
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — though if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- These terms are between you and us; no one else has rights under them.
- If you have a complaint, contact us at contact@selfwealthmanagement.co.uk and we will do our best to resolve it.
